Waiting List

How can you make an appointment?

Anyone who had an appointment cancelled over lockdown we will be contacting first as a priority as they have deposits on their appointments. Once these appointments are rescheduled we will call people on the waitlist in order of when they were submitted.

How does the waitlist work?

We will accept 100 submissions per waitlist release.
(We cannot make appointments through email or social media as we need to keep all correspondence in one place to ensure we can cross check everyone has been contacted)

What does this mean?

On our first reopening we released a waitlist and had over 700 applications for appointments. 251 in the first minute of it going live.
This led to clients being concerned why they weren’t getting calls from us the very first day that we were doing call backs when they had submitted their form 2 minutes after going live. We anticipated a huge demand but could never have realised the scale.
We were humbled and encouraged by the support.

After opening our salon 3 times in 2 years we have filtered the best and most efficient way to book you in to get the hair you miss and so we can run efficiently. By only taking 100 submissions at a time, it allows us to get through each application in a timely manner.

We will not release the next 100 waitlist applications until these clients have been contacted and booked in.

At the end of the form we will be accepting a standard deposit of 30 Euro which is fully redeemable on the day of your appointment.

Why are we taking deposits?

We have experience from previous lockdowns that people place their name on many salons wait lists and will gamble to take a chance to see where will get back to them sooner. This is understandable as we are all eager to sit back in the salon chair again.
However this massively effects our clients and our business. We spend time calling people who have already got appointments booked somewhere else already or they may book an appointment with us and simply not show up.

This is devastating to us as a business, it means there has been an appointment wasted that could have been given to someone else. It also is devastating to us in an already tough time, we have now been closed 50% of the time since we opened. We have only been allowed to operate 10 out of 20 months since opening Kida hair.
We cant work at full capacity and to have a ‘no show’ appointment truely has a real and hard effect on us being sustainable.

By paying a deposit and capping 100 submissions per release it allows us to work through this list and offer everyone that has done so an appointment. We know it will deter people from submitting the waitlist if they have other waitlists active if a deposit is required. So it allows us to call ‘you’ our loyal clients. It filters out us calling people who have appointments else where, nor will appointments be taken by people who may not show up.

We hope this is helps and answers and questions you may have.
